If I add, for example, an IKEA (or other brand) device to my HA setup via another brand’s Matter hub, and IKEA later releases a firmware update for that device, how will it get that update? Or won’t it get updated if I’m not using IKEA’s Dirigera hub?. Specifically, at this point, I’m not interested in using the IKEA Home smart app for using the devices, I just want them to be accessible in Home Assistant.
